By Isabelle Kang, NPHR Blog Editor Global/National The WHO Director-General declared mpox outbreak a public health emergency of international concern.  The WHO launched a global Strategic Preparedness and Response plan to stop outbreaks of human-to-human mpox transmission.  The Biden-Harris Administration awarded more than $558 million to improve maternal health.
